Dryrod Damp-Proofing Rods are the latest innovation in rising damp treatments.
Holes are drilled in a wall, using a 12mm drill bit, along the first continuous mortar course that is at least 150mm above ground level. On a standard brick wall, these holes are drilled 90% into the width the wall at 120mm intervals. Once the holes have been drilled, the rods are inserted by hand. Once they are inserted, the carrier rods slowly diffuse water repellent deep into the damp masonry, curing to form a powerful barrier to further damp ingress. No fuss, no mess, no stress.
