'Meet The Supplier' was an excellent opportunity for our suppliers to showcase new products and we were able to offer our customers very special offers on the day.
The event wasn't only for the Trade, but DIY and Self-Builders also, with all manner of suppliers exhibiting, from basic Building Materials right through to full Timber Frame Homes.
To celebrate the first anniversary of our move to Boundary Street, we wanted to give our suppliers the opportunity to come face to face with their target audience in merseyside and the surrounding areas. With over 40 suppliers in attendance, the event generated a lot of interest from our extensive customer base, which includes national contractors, local developers and self builders. It was great opportunity for customers to meet the leading manufacturers and discuss their projects for 2008 and beyond.
We were also pleased to welcome a number of distinguished guests to the event, including Allan Durning, Chairman of the National Buying Group (NBG).

'Meet The Supplier' was an exciting event for us and we look forward to welcoming all our customers to the next one! The event ran from 10am to 7pm and entrance was free, a format which is likely to be used for the next event.

Beers Timber & Building Supplies has had a continuous presence in Liverpool since 1916 and we have succeeded by offering our customers a first class service and by providing first quality timber. Over the years, Beers has diversified and grown and now offers customers a full range of building materials, from the first hole in the ground to the last tile on the roof! After out-growing our premises in King's Dock Street, where we had been based since 1986, we moved in January 2007 to a new, 30,000sq.ft. purpose built depot and head office in Boundary Street, Liverpool.
